As British Summertime draws to a close, the
Long Shop Museum in Leiston will be turning up the heat with a fabulous weekend
of music, steam and beer! Complete with some toe-tapping tunes to keep you
entertained for hours.
We are delighted to be once again working in
partnership with CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale as well as showcasing some
great musicians throughout the three day to help turn the Long Shop into a
veritable ‘Cathedral of Sound’.
The festival kicks off at 6pm on Friday the
11th of October, and goes through until 11pm. On Saturday the 12th,
we open from 11am until 11pm, and Sunday from 11am until 4pm to give revelers a
chance to sample some of the fifteen different high quality ales, ciders and
wines selected by the Ipswich branch of CAMRA.
We are very proud to introduce a stunning
line up of entertainers at this year’s festival;
Friday evening- THE RANDOM BLUES COMPANY.
Saturday afternoon- The COMPANY OF HORHAM OLD SCHOOL- traditional music session. (bring
along your own instrument and get involved!)
Saturday Evening- THE STEVE BOYCE DUO “LOST”
Sunday Afternoon- the famous DR BUSKER, a hilarious show not to be
We will be serving hot food throughout the
festival to soak up the ale and keep you well fed.
