Steam Preservation

The East Anglian Traction Engine Society's journal 'Steam Preservation' was first printed in March 1957, when it was edited by our late President Steve Neville. Since then it has had many editors and remains today one of the most successful journals printed by a regional Society in this field of interest.
The journal features special occasions and events organised by the Society, the above front cover of the November 2001 edition is from a photograph by Alan Barnes of EATES member Richard Hemington with his Ransomes, Sims and Jefferies traction engine, taking part in the Constable Country Steam Tour on July 21st  2001. Such topics make very interesting reading and give those who were not fortunate enough to get to these events the opportunity to read about them and view the published pictures. Archive material is often used, and a junior membership spot and general topics of interest to members are included.
The journal is printed three times each year. People wishing to have articles or advertisements published in 'Steam Preservation' should contact
